What we do
Commercial Solar Surveys arranges free commercial solar site surveys and feasibility assessments for UK businesses, farms, schools, charities and landlords. You tell us about your site, we call you to understand it, and if it looks suitable we arrange a survey with one MCS certified installer matched to the site's size, location and roof type.
Why a survey first
Commercial solar is usually a five or six figure investment that sits on your roof for decades. The right decision depends on things that are easy to get wrong without looking properly: how much electricity you use in daylight hours, whether the roof and structure are fit for it, whether the local network can take the connection, and how you will pay for it. A survey puts those facts in front of you before you commit to anything.
How we work
- One installer, not a list. If your site is suitable your details go to one matched installer only.
- No obligation. The survey is free and you decide whether to go ahead.
- Plain information. Our guides explain costs, payback, finance, grants and the grid in plain English, with illustrative figures clearly labelled as such.
What we do not do
We do not install solar panels and we do not provide finance. Any contract for design and installation is between you and the installer you choose. We do not charge you for the survey.
