Who we are
Commercial Solar Surveys is a trading name of TNW Marketing (TNW Holdings UK Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 14692045). We are the controller of the details you give us through this website.
What we collect
When you request a free survey, we collect:
- your name, business or organisation name, mobile number and email address
- the address and postcode of the site
- your answers about the site: the kind of site, whether you own or lease it, your monthly electricity spend band, whether you have looked into solar before, when you hope to go ahead, and the kind of survey you would like
- the page you sent the form from and the website that referred you, if any
- notes our team makes when we call you about the site
Why we use it
To call you about the survey you asked for, to check whether your site is suitable for solar, and, if it is, to arrange the survey with an installer. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who it goes to
Our own team, and the systems we use to store enquiries and manage our calls. If your site is suitable, we pass your details to the one MCS certified installer we match to your site, so they can arrange and carry out the survey. Your details go to one installer only.
How long we keep it
TODO for the site owner: confirm the retention period for enquiries and call notes, and state it here.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing leads@solarsurveys.uk. If we have already passed your details to an installer, we will tell you which one and pass on your request.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.
